Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tommy Löfgren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ingemar Frisck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Andreas Hagström made a huge save. In the 5th minute Tommy Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Löfgren in the 11th minute of play forced Unnaryd's goalkeeper Andreas Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Unnaryd getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bengt Wallin hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Träslövläge IF's Krister Harman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Unnaryd's Karl-Johan Qvalfeldt got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bengt Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Hagström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Frisck in the 19th minute. Ingemar Frisck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Träslövläge IF's Tommy Löfgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andreas Hagström. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 28th minute, Träslövläge IF's Tommy Löfgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 38th minute Harry Söder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Siöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes, Krister Olsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unnaryd and the Träslövläge IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Krister Olsson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Andreas Hagström made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ingemar Frisck sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Harry Söder made the kick off in the second half. Harry Skräddare's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Börje Siöman firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 54 played minutes Unnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Wallin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frans Kämpe during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Börje Siöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Söder in the 63rd minute of play. Ingemar Frisck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Andreas Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, one of Träslövläge IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Träslövläge IF. The goalkeeper, Börje Siöman, was totally fooled by Unnaryd's Andy Burman, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tommy Löfgren's late challenge caught a Unnaryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Löfgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Träslövläge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Harry Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unnaryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Söder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Siöman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börje Siöman came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Unnaryd's Harry Skräddare. But to his dismay, Harry Skräddare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
