The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kalix's Michael Classon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Lundin in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Bror Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Classon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Lundin in the 7th minute of the match. Georg Törnqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Michael Classon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Bror Lundin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalix's Michael Classon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hugo Kinnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bror Lundin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Classon having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, Kalix's goalkeeper Michael Classon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Kinnman. Bror Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Kinnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Michael Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Bror Lundin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bror Lundin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Michael Classon 35 minutes into the match. Michael Hedin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Hugo Kinnman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffanstorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Kinnman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Classon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georg Törnqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Classon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Michael Classon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Lundin in the 53rd minute of the match. Hugo Kinnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Staffanstorp booed when Kalix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Löfdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bror Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bror Lundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Classon was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 76 minutes of play, Staffanstorp's Hugo Kinnman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Classon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Kalix's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Hedkvist came free, but Michael Classon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Staffanstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Almqvist to maneuver through the defense. Michael Classon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Kinnman in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Kalix's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Kinnman came free, but Michael Classon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kalix's zone, Hugo Kinnman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Classon came out of the goal and Hugo Kinnman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Hugo Kinnman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffanstorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Kinnman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Staffanstorp players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
