Tidaholm IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svartå the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Tidaholm IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Boman to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Svartå got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Rudkvist. A collision led to Svartå getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Martin Henriksson hit a great ball. The wind increased when Jakob Olsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tidaholm IK's Karl-Oskar Tingelholm seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karl-Oskar Tingelholm the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tidaholm IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl-Oskar Tingelholm had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some careless play in the Tidaholm IK defense, Jakob Olsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaf Landin. The Tidaholm IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaf Landin should have stopped the shot. In the 71st match minute, Svartå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Börje Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Jansson in the 73rd minute of the match. Leif Enegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Börje Sundström having to make a save. Marcus Erserman's late challenge caught a Tidaholm IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Erserman helped the player get up and apologised. Marcus Erserman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Gunnar Bohlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gunnar Bohlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tidaholm IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Bohlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes Svartå got a freekick which was hit by Klas Nyman. Tidaholm IK's Leif Enegren suffered a concussion after 92 minutes and had to leave the field. During the 92nd minute of the match Marcus Erserman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcus Erserman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 92 minutes into the game, one of Svartå:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Svartå:s Börje Sundström showed great skill when he stopped Anders Josefsson:s penalty. Börje Sundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Bohlin in the 97th minute. Tidaholm IK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Svartå had won, even though Tidaholm IK had held more of the ball.
