The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Erik Pihlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Käller having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Nävekvarn IF got a freekick which was hit by Lars Caspersson. Sven-Erik Pihlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vårby FK's zone, Sven-Erik Pihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Tönnberg came out of the goal and Sven-Erik Pihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robin Tönnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Erik Pihlberg's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Robin Tönnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Pihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tony Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute.
