In the 6th match minute, Nävekvarn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Melwood Mean Machine's zone, Aron Ennegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Lund came out of the goal and Aron Ennegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Sven-Erik Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melwood Mean Machine's Christian Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ennegren in the 26th minute of play. George Låsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Käller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Låsberg ran back to his position shaking his head. George Låsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rune Käller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Haglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Käller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christer Haglund ran back to his position shaking his head. Nävekvarn IF's Rune Käller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Nävekvarn IF from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when George Låsberg made the kick off in the second half. Sven-Erik Pihlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Lund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Erik Pihlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, George Låsberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nävekvarn IF's Rune Käller. Rune Käller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Sven-Erik Pihlberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Christian Lund to make any attempt to save it. Aron Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sven-Erik Pihlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melwood Mean Machine's Christian Lund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If George Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Pihlberg in the 80th minute of play forced Melwood Mean Machine's goalkeeper Christian Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Caspersson's late challenge caught a Melwood Mean Machine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
