Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Sven Persson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Lund. Melwood Mean Machine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christian Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kleen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Eskilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Lund having to make a save. In the 15th minute, George Låsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hällekis's Olov Berglund in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melwood Mean Machine's goalie prevented a goal. Christer Haglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Peder Stålman made a huge save. George Låsberg took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peder Stålman. Peder Stålman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. William Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Lund having to interfere. Christian Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Eskilsson in the 38th minute of the match. Hällekis's Peder Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Låsberg in the 39th minute of play. Christer Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Peder Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Berglund made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Låsberg in the 61st minute of play forced Hällekis's goalkeeper Peder Stålman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melwood Mean Machine's Christian Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Berglund in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Hällekis's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Haglund came free, but Peder Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Haglund scored 2-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peder Stålman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hällekis booed when Melwood Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Lund having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Låsberg in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peder Stålman saved Hällekis from getting behind. The supporters of Melwood Mean Machine booed when Hällekis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Viggo Hellström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peder Stålman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute George Låsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Stålman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Olov Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällekis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Berglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Berglund in the 97th minute of the match.
