Ingmar Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Per-Erik Ekberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limmared. The supporters of Limmared booed when Stars Shining was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Ånger didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adrian Gråberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stars Shining's Petter Grönlund got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Limmared's Sebastian Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Grönlund in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Michael Billvall to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Gråberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Karl-Michael Billvall came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Limmared fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Billvall couldn't finish the play. Per-Erik Ekberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingmar Axelsson in the 61st minute. Per-Erik Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Per-Erik Ekberg. After some careless play in the Limmared defense, Petter Grönlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Jansson. The Limmared fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Jansson should have stopped the shot. Ingmar Axelsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Per-Erik Ekberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 98 minutes into the match, Stars Shining's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Billvall came free, but Per-Erik Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
