After a rather tough play, Norra Tälje BK's Folke Åkesson got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes, Leonardo Sigman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norra Tälje BK and the Ruth Wegaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Norra Tälje BK got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Sigman. The audience was convinced that Markus Paulin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Stenquist was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Georg Asklund hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tom Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Herman Söderberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ruth Wegaz's Karl-Oskar Stål didn't even have to move. Markus Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Stenquist having to interfere. Tommy Stenquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Svensson in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Knut Svensson to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Svensson in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Stenquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Stenquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Svensson in the 57th minute of the match. Markus Paulin struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Tommy Stenquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruth Wegaz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Gustavsson in the 75th minute of play forced Ruth Wegaz's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torgny Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Stål having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Norra Tälje BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Westerstrand to maneuver through the defense. When Ruth Wegaz's Knut Svensson in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was Robert Sundén who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ruth Wegaz's corner Johannes Lund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Stenquist quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Ruth Wegaz booed when Norra Tälje BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Västlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markus Paulin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Stenquist having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Markus Paulin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruth Wegaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Paulin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Stenquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Norra Tälje BK's Tom Westerstrand got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Knut Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ruth Wegaz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
