After 13 minutes, Stig-Åke Frykberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rimforsa and the BK Hisingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Rimforsa got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Frykberg. A collision led to Rimforsa getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tony Vestlund hit a great ball. Folke Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Helström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Vestlund's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Rimforsa's Maximilian Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Sigfridsson in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, BK Hisingen's Oskar Sigfridsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximilian Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, BK Hisingen's goalkeeper Valdemar Helström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernst Bergendahl. If Ernst Bergendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tony Vestlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar Helström was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Oskar Sigfridsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tony Vestlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rimforsa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. BK Hisingen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd minute, one of BK Hisingen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BK Hisingen. The referee gave Rimforsa a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leif Berggren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BK Hisingen's Valdemar Helström. 2-1. Tony Vestlund struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Valdemar Helström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rimforsa. If Tony Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernst Bergendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Helström having to interfere. If Ernst Bergendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Lövgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Isaksson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BK Hisingen's zone, Tony Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Helström came out of the goal and Tony Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
