The supporters of Karlskoga booed when Tomten Är Bajare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Utter didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Wallmark in the 10th minute of play forced Karlskoga's goalkeeper Mats Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fritz Påk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Walter Beckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Påk was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Peter Valls short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Mats Torstensson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Stor in the 33rd minute of play forced Tomten Är Bajare's goalkeeper Fritz Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Walter Beckman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fritz Påk. Tomten Är Bajare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Beckman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 38 minutes, Karl-Oskar Pålsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karlskoga and the Tomten Är Bajare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Stor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tomten Är Bajare getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Casper Utter hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes, Karlskoga's Jim Andreasson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fritz Påk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Karlskoga reached it. If Emil Stor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Wallmark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Walter Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Påk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fritz Påk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes in the game, Emil Stor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fritz Påk having to interfere. Fritz Påk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Beckman in the 58th minute of play. Walter Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fritz Påk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Stor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fritz Påk having to make a save. After 71 played minutes Tomten Är Bajare got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Benett. Emil Stor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fritz Påk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fritz Påk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Beckman's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Walter Beckman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fritz Påk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivert Olsman in the 79th minute. Emil Stor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Stor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Påk having to interfere. Fritz Påk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Beckman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 96 minute of play.
