Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulf Njurenius started the match with the kick off. Jim Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Karlskoga's zone, Tom Karlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Torstensson came out of the goal and Tom Karlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emil Stor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Pålsson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Mårdaklev IFK's Kevin Palm in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karlskoga's goalie prevented a goal. Allan Josefsson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Mats Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Palm, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Kevin Palm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mårdaklev IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Palm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Njurenius in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Patrik Stephansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mats Torstensson skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Walter Beckman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sven-Arne Brun to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Beckman in the 31st minute of play forced Mårdaklev IFK's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sven-Arne Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Arne Brun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Stor in the 36th minute. Anthon Åberg's late challenge caught a Karlskoga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthon Åberg helped the player get up and apologised. Anthon Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Mårdaklev IFK's Sven-Arne Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Beckman in the 38th minute of play. Emil Stor came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Arne Brun could save by the left post. Mårdaklev IFK's Sven-Arne Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Beckman in the 43rd minute of play. Walter Beckman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Arne Brun having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walter Beckman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Mårdaklev IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Beckman came free, but Sven-Arne Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Stor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karlskoga's Walter Beckman got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Mårdaklev IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Karlskoga:s goal. The referee gave Karlskoga a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jim Andreasson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mårdaklev IFK's Sven-Arne Brun. 2-0. A collision led to Karlskoga getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Pålsson hit a great ball. Mats Torstensson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Kevin Palm sent off a good shot on target. If Walter Beckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Busk's late challenge caught a Karlskoga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Busk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Brian Busk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Walter Beckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Arne Brun was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Mårdaklev IFK's Anthon Åberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Anthon Åberg off the ground. The supporters of Karlskoga booed when Mårdaklev IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Emil Stor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Arne Brun was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Karlskoga had played much better football throughout.
