Gabriel Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Haglund having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Latikberg FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. When Johannes Fransson fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tjompa’s FK's protests and gave Johannes Fransson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Latikberg FF booed when Tjompa’s FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Helge Joensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Vikström in the 20th minute of play forced Tjompa’s FK's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Wassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Latikberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Björkkvist came free, but Valentin Haglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Haglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Björkkvist in the 39th minute of play. Björn Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Haglund having to interfere. Latikberg FF's Valentin Haglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Ek in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Klas Björkkvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Latikberg FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Fogel to maneuver through the defense. If Klas Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Vikström might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Åke Wassenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Vikström ran back to his position shaking his head. Helge Joensson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nils-Åke Wassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Latikberg FF. Nils-Åke Wassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Vikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gabriel Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Latikberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Björkkvist came free, but Valentin Haglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Klas Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörgen Martinsson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Latikberg FF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jörgen Martinsson hit a great ball. When Gabriel Ek came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tjompa’s FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Ek couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Valentin Haglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Klas Björkkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Eks short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Valentin Haglund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tjompa’s FK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
