The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urban Gustafsson during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Same United booed when Otters FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Urban Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Niklas Törnblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otters FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Otters FK booed when Same United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Söderqwist hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Tobias Söderqwist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Kellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Stensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Otters FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. Maximilian Asserlindh scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krister Ahlén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ralf Kellberg was a little too slow when Michel Pihlwall got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niklas Törnblom made a kick off. Tobias Söderqwist took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Kellberg. Ralf Kellberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Tobias Söderqwist scored 4-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralf Kellberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Otters FK booed when Same United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Gudmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Henrik Gudmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Bernt Billvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Same United got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Gudmundsson. Tobias Söderqwist hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Törnblom in the 75th minute of play forced Same United's goalkeeper Krister Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Kellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Pihlwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Same United's zone, Niklas Törnblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Ahlén came out of the goal and Niklas Törnblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Mikael Hjälm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otters FK and the Same United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Otters FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Hjälm to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Törnblom took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krister Ahlén. Krister Ahlén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After 95 played minutes Niklas Törnblom rounded Same United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-4.
