After having played for 4 minutes, Henrik Gudmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Same United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Gudmundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Henrik Gudmundsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Torsten Rudberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kävlinge's Torsten Rudberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Kävlinge from getting a goal against them. Isac Nässén charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isac Nässén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Isac Nässén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Bergendahl in the 18th minute of play forced Same United's goalkeeper Krister Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Rudberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Söderqwist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Henrik Gudmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Tobias Söderqwist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tobias Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Bergendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Krister Ahlén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Gudmundsson got free with Torsten Rudberg in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Same United's Krister Ahlén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Gallberg in the 39th minute of play. Torsten Rudberg was a little too slow when Tobias Söderqwist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Gudmundsson to make the kick off. Henrik Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tobias Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Henrik Gudmundsson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Kävlinge's Torsten Rudberg. Torsten Rudberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Nässén got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 63rd match minute, Kävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Nässén to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Gudmundsson in the 67th minute of the match. Henrik Gudmundsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Rudberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Siöberg during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Torsten Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Söderqwist in the 80th minute of the match. Henrik Gudmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Kävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Gallberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Henrik Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Gudmundsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Rudberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jens Tidéksson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Torsten Rudberg. Kävlinge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Same United were the better team. Same United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
