After a defensive mix-up in Majorna Cowboys's zone, Tobias Söderqwist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Erik Rolandsson came out of the goal and Tobias Söderqwist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Rolandsson having to interfere. Same United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Majorna Cowboys the free kick. Leonard Petersson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Henrik Gudmundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Gerdberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Majorna Cowboys. Robert Beck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Krister Ahlén. 2-1. Jens-Erik Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Söderqwist in the 60th minute of the match. Tobias Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Rolandsson having to interfere. Jens-Erik Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Söderqwist in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Bernt Billvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krister Ahlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Gerdberg in the 74th minute of play. Tobias Söderqwist scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Erik Rolandsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Rolandsson having to interfere. Jens-Erik Rolandsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Majorna Cowboys getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lukas Kjellman hit a great ball. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Same United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Beck was slow to take the kick. During this time Majorna Cowboys's players had a chance to rest. When the referee ended the match the Same United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
