Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Båstad IK's Jarl Jonsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jarl Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Ståhlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Stenström having to interfere. Dag Stenström struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Billy Kristiansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Båstad IK. Jarl Jonsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Jarl Jonsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Orgulaz BK's Billy Kristiansson. Billy Kristiansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Båstad IK's zone, Charlie Ståhlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Åke Stenström came out of the goal and Charlie Ståhlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Båstad IK's Karl-Åke Stenström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Åström in the 29th minute of play. Jarl Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilhelm Lövgren hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Ernst Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orgulaz BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, one of Orgulaz BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Orgulaz BK. Börje Hedin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernst Åström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Båstad IK's Jarl Jonsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Karl-Åke Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Ståhlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jarl Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Kristiansson having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Orgulaz BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Strandberg to maneuver through the defense. Billy Kristiansson was a little too slow when Jarl Jonsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 87th minute Charlie Ståhlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Stenström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Orgulaz BK's zone, Dag Stenström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Kristiansson came out of the goal and Dag Stenström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Båstad IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
