A very good chance for a goal. Linus Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Linberg having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Elof Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erik Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erik Josefsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Leksand RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Josefsson couldn't finish the play. If Erik Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Kim Svensson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stellan Valler. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Malmudden AIK's Per Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Engström in the 31st minute of play. Linus Engström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Linberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Kim Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmudden AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Svensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stellan Valler made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Elof Löfgren sent off a good shot on target. If August Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kim Svensson made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Erik Josefsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evert Rydelius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stellan Valler. Leksand RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Erik Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leksand RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Linus Engström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Linberg was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Stellan Valler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Svensson in the 69th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Erik Josefsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles Löfgren hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Kim Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Kim Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Valler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malmudden AIK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
