Robin Telin charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Telin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brunekulle FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Robin Telin hit a great ball. If Marcus Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Zander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Uggstedt having to interfere. Olov Wiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Nykvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Bernt Zander in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonard Uggstedt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcus Mickelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Mickelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Brunekulle FC's Robin Telin got a free kick in the 56th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Martins Dunderpatrull's David Bolander tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dan Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Wiman having to interfere. Martins Dunderpatrull's Olov Wiman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Nykvist in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Dan Askstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olov Wiman. Martins Dunderpatrull's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Askstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Olov Wiman came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Brunekulle FC's Dan Askstedt. But to his dismay, Dan Askstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Måns Nykvist came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Brunekulle FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Måns Nykvist couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Brunekulle FC's zone, Bernt Zander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Uggstedt came out of the goal and Bernt Zander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Brunekulle FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brunekulle FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
