Patrik Kjellman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alex Pihlblad succeeded in the game's 15th minute to get real power on a long shot . Club America's Mikael Alstedt hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-0! Pär Alefors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Robert Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pär Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Lindqvist in the 31st minute of play forced Diö's goalkeeper Robert Lundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Lundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Alstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Alefors in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Alefors in the 40th minute of play forced Club America's goalkeeper Mikael Alstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Nordström charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Nordström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Diö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Nordström to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Alstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Pär Alefors slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
