Alex Pihlblad's shot from long distance in the 29th minute was not bad at all, but Nävlinge IF's Anton Ödmann knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Rudolf Håkansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Lundberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Rudolf Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Lundberg having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Nävlinge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Månsson to maneuver through the defense. Diö's Pär Alefors got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Ödmann was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Pär Alefors capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pär Alefors really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rudolf Håkansson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Diö's zone, Jörn Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Lundberg came out of the goal and Jörn Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, Diö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Britz to maneuver through the defense. If Rudolf Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Diö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. Robert Lundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Robert Lundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of Nävlinge IF booed when Diö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Alefors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Håkansson in the 93rd minute of the match. Robert Lundberg had great luck who in the 95thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rudolf Håkansson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Nävlinge IF played a much better game than Diö and deserved their victory. The Diö players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
