Spectators: 5955 (Terracing: 4700, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 5) Ljungans EIF's Timmy Lång started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Lång in the 3rd minute of play forced Grästorp's goalkeeper Jack Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grästorp's zone, Timmy Lång stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Björklund came out of the goal and Timmy Lång tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Leonardo Jespersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Timmy Lång had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute, Dennis Malmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Timmy Lång shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaj Ahlfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Blom having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ljungans EIF defense, Bo Wik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Blom. The Ljungans EIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Blom should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Grästorp's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Lång came free, but Jack Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Björklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timmy Lång showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Wik in the 43rd minute of play forced Ljungans EIF's goalkeeper Tobias Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Ahlfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph Granström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Tobias Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo Wik made a kick off. Tobias Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Wik in the 53rd minute. Kaj Ahlfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Tobias Blom made a huge save. The supporters of Grästorp booed when Ljungans EIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Dalman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kaj Ahlfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leonardo Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungans EIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Jespersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Jan-Åke Stolpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Lång, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Leonardo Jespersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
