An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Beckström in the 15th minute of play forced Jeppe FC's goalkeeper Andreas Bryngelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Sören Beckström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Bryngelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Henry Hökkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Sundström went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Svante Persson's late challenge caught a Ljusfallshammar IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svante Persson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ljusfallshammar IF booed when Jeppe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Bryngelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Beckström in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kevin Widberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Hökkvist was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The Jeppe FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Jeppe FC's Kevin Widberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Jeppe FC's Samuel Kihlman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th match minute, Ljusfallshammar IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

If Kevin Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Widberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Henry Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roger Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 72 minutes, Sven-Olof Alkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljusfallshammar IF and the Jeppe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Ljusfallshammar IF defense, Roger Sundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Hökkvist. The Ljusfallshammar IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Hökkvist should have stopped the shot. Roger Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Henry Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Roger Sundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Hökkvist. Ljusfallshammar IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Sundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 93rd minute of the match Jan Ekgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Hökkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeppe FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
