Patric Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Gabriel Sjöberg sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Ove Stenberg during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Furia Arona's Jan-Ove Stenberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes of play Furia Arona's Jan-Ove Stenberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Furia Arona getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jan-Ove Stenberg hit a great ball. Gabriel Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur FC's goalkeeper Patric Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Sjöberg. When Gabriel Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Furia Arona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur FC's goalkeeper Patric Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Sjöberg. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gabriel Sjöberg sped through Tottenham Hotspur FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patric Fredriksson. Gabriel Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Patric Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patric Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gabriel Sjöberg sent off a good shot on target. When Jan-Åke Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Furia Arona fans jumped to their feet. Patric Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Sjöberg in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes Tottenham Hotspur FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonatan Svensson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Furia Arona's Jonatan Svensson to fire away a dangerous shot which Patric Fredriksson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny Bäckman to make the kick off. Gabriel Sjöberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Fredriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Patric Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gabriel Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th of the match, Kenny Bäckman tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gunnar Hydén got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Sjöberg in the 75th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspur FC's goalkeeper Patric Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
