Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrik Sjöberg started the match with the kick off. Henrik Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Odin having to interfere. Henrik Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Joacim Asserlind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Henrik Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo-Erik Harlén hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes, Hyssna's Björn Blomberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joachim Lidman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hyssna reached it. Lars Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrik Sjöberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oskar Odin having to make a save. Henrik Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lars Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarsbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Odin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Hegg in the 35th minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Joachim Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Lidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Kjellbom in the 37th minute of the match. Joachim Lidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Bo Kjellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Lidman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When Jan Rang fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gunnarsbyn's protests and gave Jan Rang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Jan Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimmie Hegg to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Bo Kjellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyssna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Kjellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Jimmie Hegg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joachim Lidman. The goal made the score 0-1. The supporters of Gunnarsbyn booed when Hyssna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lars Sandström came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gunnarsbyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Sandström couldn't finish the play. Lars Sandström struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Oskar Odin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunnarsbyn. Henrik Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Oskar Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo-Erik Harlén, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Oskar Odin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 played minutes, Gunnarsbyn's Pelle Jakobsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oskar Odin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Hyssna were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gunnarsbyn side.
