When Jimmie Hegg came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hyssna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmie Hegg couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Jimmie Hegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patric Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Kjellbom in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Hegg in the 20th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspur FC's goalkeeper Patric Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tottenham Hotspur FC. 46 minutes into the game, Hyssna's Jimmie Hegg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patric Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tottenham Hotspur FC. Jimmie Hegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Patric Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
