Spectators: 7233 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 120) Paul Nordström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gösta Käller in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erik Mellin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erik Mellin was a little too slow when Mathias Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Paul Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mathias Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Bengt-Åke Lindkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vita Stjärnan and the FC Rovira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Lindkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, FC Rovira's Oskar Ek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Vassenius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Lundqvist in the 17th minute of play forced FC Rovira's goalkeeper Erik Mellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Mathias Lundqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erik Mellin, passed just outside the right post. When Oskar Ek came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FC Rovira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Ek couldn't finish the play. If Oskar Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Paul Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vita Stjärnan's zone, Paul Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Vassenius came out of the goal and Paul Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Oskar Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Mellin having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Vita Stjärnan's Mathias Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Vita Stjärnan from getting a goal against them. Mathias Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Oskar Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Nordström struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mathias Vassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rovira. After 62 played minutes Vita Stjärnan got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Göransson. In the 64th minute, Paul Nordström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathias Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Nordström in the 69th minute of play. FC Rovira's Erik Mellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Lundqvist in the 72nd minute of play. Oskar Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Vassenius having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Rovira's Paul Nordström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathias Vassenius. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. The supporters of Vita Stjärnan booed when FC Rovira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Gösta Käller put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Mellin. Gösta Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, FC Rovira's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Käller came free, but Erik Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oskar Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Vassenius having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Oskar Ek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mathias Vassenius, 2-3. FC Rovira's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
