Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jim Lindgren kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Busby Babes's goalkeeper Sören Skröder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinninga RK's Lucas Åkerman came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Sören Skröder had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Jim Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viggo Kolberg scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin Rudberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vidar Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Skröder having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Vidar Edström put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sören Skröder. Jim Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Rudberg having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Busby Babes's Sören Skröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Edström in the 51st minute of play. Lucas Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Skröder having to interfere. Vidar Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sören Skröder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Lindgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin Rudberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Lindgren in the 70th minute of play forced Vinninga RK's goalkeeper Edvin Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Kolberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Edvin Rudberg made a huge save. Edvin Rudberg made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Viggo Kolberg sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Vinninga RK's zone, Jim Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin Rudberg came out of the goal and Jim Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Viggo Kolberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Busby Babes's supporters rose to their feet, but Viggo Kolberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin Rudberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Staffan Eliasson's late challenge caught a Busby Babes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Staffan Eliasson helped the player get up and apologised. Lucas Lundkvist shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Jim Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Busby Babes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Lindgren couldn't finish the play. Jim Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinninga RK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Busby Babes had controlled the match.
