Spectators: 7090 (Terracing: 5465, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Ulrik Lindgren made the kick off and thus started the match. Viggo Kolberg took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Caspersson. André Caspersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jim Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Busby Babes's Sören Skröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Lindgren in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Fredriksdal's Ulrik Lindgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sören Skröder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Lindgren in the 14th minute of play forced Fredriksdal's goalkeeper André Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Lindgren in the 17th minute of the match. Ulrik Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Busby Babes's Jim Lindgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Caspersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Lindgren in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Busby Babes's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Lindgren came free, but Sören Skröder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Max Lindman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fredriksdal and the Busby Babes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Fredriksdal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Lindman to maneuver through the defense. André Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Lindgren in the 40th minute of play. Sören Skröder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Lindgren in the 42nd minute of play. Christer Hedström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulrik Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Skröder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Lindgren in the 48th minute of play forced Busby Babes's goalkeeper Sören Skröder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Jim Lindgren made the kick off in the second half. Sören Skröder was a little too slow when Daniel Beckström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-1. André Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Lindgren in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute Ulrik Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Skröder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Christer Hedström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sören Skröder. The goal made the score 1-2. Busby Babes's Sören Skröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Lindgren in the 76th minute of play. When Busby Babes's Viggo Kolberg in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fredriksdal's goalie prevented a goal. Busby Babes's Jim Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Lindgren in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Caspersson saved Fredriksdal from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Fredriksdal's zone, Jim Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Caspersson came out of the goal and Jim Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Jim Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rikard Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. André Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fredriksdal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
