Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Birger Sandwall struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Andy Kristiansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Askersund. Ralf Lindblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Duset having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Ralf Lindblom fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. George Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Lindblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angered's Andy Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Sandwall in the 19th minute of play. Andy Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Lund in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Fredrik Svanström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Askersund's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Svanström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Kristiansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Östen Alén during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Östen Alén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Lindblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. George Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angered's Andy Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Lund in the 35th minute of play. Andy Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Sandwall in the 36th minute of the match. If Birger Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Angered's Rune Berg got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Angered was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Berg to maneuver through the defense. Andy Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Lund in the 54th minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Sundling's late challenge caught a Askersund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Oskar Sundling helped the player get up and apologised. When Askersund's Fredrik Svanström in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angered's goalie prevented a goal. Johannes Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Sandwalls short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Andy Kristiansson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 66 minutes, Johannes Lund made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Angered's Andy Kristiansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. George Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Lindblom in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Johannes Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andy Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Birger Sandwall sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Birger Sandwall put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Andy Kristiansson. Ralf Lindblom scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Duset, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes, Ralf Lindblom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angered and the Askersund players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Ralf Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Askersund walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
