If Nils Granqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Lund in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvin Willig saved Radio Stockholm from getting behind. With a little luck, Askersund's George Duset got control of the ball when Nils Granqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Trillkott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Askersund's goalkeeper George Duset, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Inge Kjellqvist in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Radio Stockholm's Arvin Nyberg. In the 44th minute Johannes Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Willig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Birger Asserlindh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Radio Stockholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Askersund the free kick. The supporters of Askersund booed when Radio Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Asserlindh didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Birger Asserlindh was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Radio Stockholm's Birger Asserlindh got a free kick in the 48th minute. The Radio Stockholm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Askersund were winning 1-2.

Birger Sandwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Edvin Willig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvin Willig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Askersund were awarded a corner. Roger Bratt went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Johannes Lund drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Radio Stockholm's goalkeeper. Edvin Willig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Birger Sandwall went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Radio Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Lund came free, but Edvin Willig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Radio Stockholm getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nils Granqvist hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birger Sandwall got free with Edvin Willig in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radio Stockholm's Edvin Willig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Radio Stockholm from getting a goal against them. Radio Stockholm's Edvin Willig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Lund in the 92nd minute of play. Birger Sandwall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Edvin Willig made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Johannes Lund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edvin Willig. That made the score 1-5 in the 96 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Askersund walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
