If Birger Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Skytt having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Askersund's Inge Kjellqvist got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Boda Tigers booed when Askersund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Alén didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Askersund's Fredrik Svanström got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alf Lundgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. George Duset came out and tried to block the shot, but Alf Lundgren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. George Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Boda Tigers got a corner. Askersund's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olov Asserlind ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olov Asserlind made a great header on Boda Tigers's corner, it was just that Askersund's George Duset managed to reach the ball for a save. Uno Skytt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Lund in the 27th minute of the match. Alex Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Duset having to make a save. Askersund's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alf Lundgren 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When Askersund's Johannes Lund in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boda Tigers's goalie prevented a goal. Uno Skytt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Sandwall in the 34th minute of the match. Mikael Rudqvist's late challenge caught a Askersund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Rudqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Birger Sandwall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uno Skytt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Östen Alén kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alf Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boda Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Duset breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Skytt having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Lund to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alex Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Sandwall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Uno Skytt made a huge save. Johannes Lund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uno Skytt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Lund in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uno Skytt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Fredrik Svanström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johannes Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Skytt having to interfere. Birger Sandwall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uno Skytt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Askersund getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fredrik Svanström hit a great ball. Olov Asserlind, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Boda Tigers's Alex Nilsson in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Askersund's goalie prevented a goal. After 81 played minutes Askersund got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Svanström. With a little luck, Boda Tigers's Uno Skytt got control of the ball when Birger Sandwall tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Östen Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Östen Alén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Duset having to interfere. The Boda Tigers support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
