Spectators: 7177 (Terracing: 5493, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peder Bank took the kick off in the first half of the match. Harald Bure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Larsson having to interfere. Robin Siöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Carl Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Bank, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Ludwig Arenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes Vollsjö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Jon Bennet. Göran Biörkman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Carl Ahlquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Göran Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Carl Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Harald Bure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Ahlquist was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Peder Bank capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peder Bank really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Joachim Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Åke Brenner made a kick off. Peder Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Ahlquist having to interfere. Göran Biörkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vollsjö IFK's Ludwig Arenius got a free kick in the 64th minute. Carl Ahlquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Biörkman went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Ederberg FC's Joachim Larsson got control of the ball when Harald Bure tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harald Bure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Bank in the 79th minute of play. Joachim Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Brenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Bure who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Joachim Larsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Evert Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ederberg FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vollsjö IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
