Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jens Tomasson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Osvald Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Hafström in the 5th minute of play. Arvid Arenius was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jens Tomasson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torbjörn Vacker came out and tried to block the shot, but Jens Tomasson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Inge Törnkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvald Nyberg. Huaröd IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inge Törnkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Avesta FF's Boris Biörk got a free kick in the 16th minute. Osvald Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Biörk, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Aron Gullesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Erland Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huaröd IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boris Biörk charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Biörk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erland Nyström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torbjörn Vacker having to make a save. The Huaröd IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avesta FF were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inge Törnkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Torbjörn Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Tomasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Huaröd IK's Jens Tomasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torbjörn Vacker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 60th minute, Tobias Malmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-3 became the score in the 64th minute when Inge Törnkvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, Avesta FF's Timmy Hafström made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvald Nyberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th match minute, Avesta FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Biörk to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Lars Söderkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torbjörn Vacker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Huaröd IK's Erland Nyström got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Bergfelt charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Bergfelt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Huaröd IK booed when Avesta FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avesta FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
