Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jens Tomasson started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Erling Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Turul's supporters rose to their feet, but Erling Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvald Nyberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Erling Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Nyberg was a little too slow when Erling Fredriksson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Jon Utfal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huaröd IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Turul the free kick. Jon Utfal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. FC Turul's János Varga got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Erland Nyström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huaröd IK and the FC Turul players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Huaröd IK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erland Nyström hit a great ball. Erling Fredriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvald Nyberg having to make a save. Osvald Nyberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Fredriksson in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Erling Fredriksson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Osvald Nyberg to make any attempt to save it. János Varga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Tibor Török managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Turul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Török was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Kaxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Tomasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 50 minutes FC Turul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lars Söderkvist who took care of the corner kick. Huaröd IK's Olof Wiman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filip Kaxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erling Fredriksson was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, FC Turul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. Osvald Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Fredriksson in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of FC Turul booed when Huaröd IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Erling Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Turul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erling Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Erling Fredriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huaröd IK's Osvald Nyberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th match minute, FC Turul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Tönnberg to maneuver through the defense. Osvald Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Fredriksson in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Fredriksson in the 94th minute of play forced Huaröd IK's goalkeeper Osvald Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Verner Sjöberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, FC Turul's Verner Sjöberg got a free kick in the 96th minute.
