With a little luck, Gräsmyr's Håkan Olsson got control of the ball when Leif Lindström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Håkan Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Kruse in the 29th minute of play. Leif Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Lindström in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Olsson saved Gräsmyr from getting behind. Daniel Jakobsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sävar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Lindström couldn't finish the play. If Leif Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leif Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
