Stefan Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Sävar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gunnar Skog fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tobias Siöman hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Sven-Edvin Pååk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Kruse went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Sävar's Tobias Siöman got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gunnar Skog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24thth minute of the game Stefan Böcklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sävar's Fredrik Nyman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sävar's zone, Stefan Böcklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Nyman came out of the goal and Stefan Böcklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gunnar Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sävar's goalkeeper Fredrik Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Sävar's goalkeeper Fredrik Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Skog. Fredrik Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Böcklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Simonsson during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Sävar got a freekick which was hit by Emil Simonsson. Stefan Böcklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Nyman having to interfere. When Hjortkvarn's Stefan Böcklund in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sävar's goalie prevented a goal. Stefan Böcklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredrik Nyman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Böcklund ran back to his position shaking his head.

An unexpectedly hard shot by John Kruse in the 54th minute of play forced Hjortkvarn's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Pååk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Stefan Böcklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Nyman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 59 played minutes Sävar got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Markusson. Sven-Edvin Pååk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Lindström in the 64th minute. When Stefan Böcklund came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Hjortkvarn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Böcklund couldn't finish the play. Fredrik Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Skog in the 73rd minute of the match. If Gunnar Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Sävar got a freekick which was hit by Emil Simonsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Böcklund in the 77th minute of play forced Sävar's goalkeeper Fredrik Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Edvin Pååk made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Leif Lindström sent off a good shot on target. Fredrik Nyman came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hjortkvarn's Stefan Böcklund. But to his dismay, Stefan Böcklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Skog in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredrik Nyman saved Sävar from getting behind. Sävar's Leif Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Daniel Jakobsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sävar and the Hjortkvarn players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hjortkvarn booed when Sävar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Vincent Godholm sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sävar's Fredrik Nyman didn't even have to move. Gunnar Skog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Böcklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fredrik Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Gunnar Skog put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fredrik Nyman.
