Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) John Alebäck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Dahlqvist got free with Håkan Olsson in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ralf Kjellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Lindkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Lindkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 6 minutes into the game, one of Gräsmyr:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Håkan Olsson, was totally fooled by Gusum's Fredrik Browall, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 11th minute of the match, Sven-Åke Wallin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Håkan Olsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute, Urban Ekgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Åke Wallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Jonas Hökqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudolf Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, John Alebäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rudolf Bergström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Håkan Olsson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jonas Hökqvist sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Gräsmyr's zone, Sven-Åke Wallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Olsson came out of the goal and Sven-Åke Wallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gräsmyr's goalkeeper Håkan Olsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Sven-Åke Wallin rounded Gräsmyr's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Jonas Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Olsson made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Per-Olof Dahlqvist sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Gräsmyr's goalkeeper Håkan Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Hökqvist. Håkan Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Gusum got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Johnsson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Håkan Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Hökqvist in the 54th minute of the match. Håkan Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Hökqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Wallin in the 59th minute of play forced Gräsmyr's goalkeeper Håkan Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Hökqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Olsson having to interfere. Sven-Åke Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Håkan Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Wallin in the 65th minute of play forced Gräsmyr's goalkeeper Håkan Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Jonas Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gusum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Hökqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sonny Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Urban Ekgren's late challenge caught a Gusum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urban Ekgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, one of Gräsmyr:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gräsmyr. Håkan Olsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Hökqvist's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Sven-Åke Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gräsmyr's zone, Jonas Hökqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Olsson came out of the goal and Jonas Hökqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. Gusum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
