Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5461, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex Aelenei took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute, Alex Aelenei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Billberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Kullander having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Aelenei in the 14th minute of play forced Svanesund IF's goalkeeper Leif Kullander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, Leif Kullander, was totally fooled by BK Repsej's Daniel Billberg, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Aelenei in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leif Kullander saved Svanesund IF from getting behind. Rolf Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Thidén having to interfere. Leif Kullander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Aelenei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolf Olofsson made a kick off. Peder Österberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Thidén having to interfere. Alex Aelenei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leif Kullander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Svanesund IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Aelenei came free, but Leif Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Aelenei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Kullander having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Peder Österberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svanesund IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peder Österberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Rolf Olofsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Billberg struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Leif Kullander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Repsej. Rolf Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolf Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rolf Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Leif Kullander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Aelenei in the 75th minute of the match. Alex Aelenei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Aelenei in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Kullander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute of the game Viktor Holm made a throw-in which Peder Österberg played forward. Alex Aelenei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leif Kullander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svanesund IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
