Walter Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Aleberg in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Aleberg in the 5th minute of play forced Älmeboda's goalkeeper Walter Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Aleberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Georg Pilberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sonny Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Huddinge RK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lars-Erik Pettersson hit a great ball. If Georg Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Bergsten charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Bergsten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Huddinge RK booed when Älmeboda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Bergsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Älmeboda's zone, Eddie Aleberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Ström came out of the goal and Eddie Aleberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Älmeboda's Walter Ström got control of the ball when Nils Falck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eddie Aleberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Walter Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Älmeboda's zone, Eddie Aleberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Ström came out of the goal and Eddie Aleberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Älmeboda's Walter Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Aleberg in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute, Eddie Aleberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huddinge RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eddie Aleberg struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Walter Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huddinge RK. Matvey Nazarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Pilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Georg Pilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matvey Nazarov having to interfere. Georg Pilberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matvey Nazarov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georg Pilberg ran back to his position shaking his head. If Sonny Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Eddie Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Ström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, Älmeboda's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Aleberg came free, but Walter Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huddinge RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
