Walter Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Georg Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Daniel Sefastsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Bergström got free with Daniel Sefastsson in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Edmund Kilstedt fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rothoffs FC's protests and gave Edmund Kilstedt a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Rothoffs FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Kilstedt. Älmeboda's Patrik Rosin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rothoffs FC. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Pilberg was the one to do the kick off. Karl-Axel Ahlbom scored 0-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Ström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Axel Ahlbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Walter Ström made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Rothoffs FC's zone, Georg Pilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Sefastsson came out of the goal and Georg Pilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Kilstedt was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Rothoffs FC's Edmund Kilstedt got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 75th minute of the match Mark Lindberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Sefastsson skillfully saved the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Älmeboda's Sonny Bergström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Sefastsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79thth minute of the game Georg Pilberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rothoffs FC's Daniel Sefastsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Karl-Axel Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rothoffs FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
