Jan-Ove Bergdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ove Aspengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Jan-Ove Bergdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Bergdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Tunberg couldn't finish the play. Gilbert Asklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Broman in the 80th minute of the match. Dalby's Richard Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sundborn's Roland Ros got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilbert Asklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
