Spectators: 6959 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lars Olsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roland Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marcus Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Sundborn got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Sjö. A collision led to Sundborn getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nicklas Björck hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Malinatorz's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Ros came free, but Marcus Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Torbjörn Finsberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundborn and the Malinatorz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Östen Snell hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Olsson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ove Aspengren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jörn Westerstrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Olsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ove Aspengren having to make a save. Ove Aspengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Olsson in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Roland Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Brandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Ros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Roland Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Brandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sundborn's Bertil Lundström got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 50 minutes Sundborn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Östen Snell who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Malinatorz's corner Östen Snell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ove Aspengren quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Roland Ros made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Malinatorz's Marcus Brandin got control of the ball when Tomas Broman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malinatorz's Adrian Norberg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The long shot by Bertil Lundström in the 65th minute really tested Marcus Brandin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Jörn Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Nicklas Björck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundborn's goalkeeper Ove Aspengren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åke Walroth hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Malinatorz's corner Östen Snell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ove Aspengren quite easily take care of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
