Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claes Vennerström kicked off to start the match. Marcus Hedvall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Askestät, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Edvin Askestät recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vaggeryd's Marcus Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Askestät in the 7th minute of play. When Ian Askelöf fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sune FC's protests and gave Ian Askelöf a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Sune FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Askelöf. The supporters of Sune FC booed when Vaggeryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Kråk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Edvin Askestät sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sune FC booed when Vaggeryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Kråk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Claes Vennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sune FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Vennerström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Hedvall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Askestät in the 29th minute of play. Ernst Malmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Hafström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vaggeryd's Ernst Malmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernst Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jens-Ove Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaggeryd's Ernst Malmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart Kråk might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ove Sjögren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lennart Kråk ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Vennerström in the 44th minute of play forced Vaggeryd's goalkeeper Marcus Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune FC's Sven-Edvin Askestät got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lennart Kråk made the kick off in the second half. Claes Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Sune FC's Claes Vennerström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Claes Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Hedvall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Askestät in the 70th minute. Claes Vennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hedvall having to interfere. Lennart Kråk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Lennart Kråk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vaggeryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Sven-Edvin Askestät managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sune FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Askestät was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Vennerström in the 93rd minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Claes Vennerström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcus Hedvall, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sune FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
