In the 15th minute, Tim Ström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Happy Game Fun Play fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tim Ström struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bo Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Happy Game Fun Play. In the 25th minute, Gustaf Högman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filip Gregersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernt Aspengren's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Stålarbetare's zone, Gustaf Högman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Åberg came out of the goal and Gustaf Högman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bo Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Gustaf Högman made a precise shot to the right of Bo Åberg. IFK Stålarbetare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gustaf Högman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Bo Åberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
