The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Brodin in the 3rd minute of play forced Happy Game Fun Play's goalkeeper Filip Gregersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Gregersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Brodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Karl Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Gregersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Tidéksson charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malcolm Tidéksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Aquila booed when Happy Game Fun Play was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Tidéksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Gregersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl Brodin went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fred Mellbad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Filip Gregersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl Brodin to make the kick off. A collision led to Happy Game Fun Play getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ingvar Käller hit a great ball. Tim Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rutger Bergfeldt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaf Högman's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Gustaf Högman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Mellbad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Filip Gregersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Happy Game Fun Play was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Käller to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gustaf Högman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Happy Game Fun Play's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Högman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rutger Bergfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Gregersson having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Aquila had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
