Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl-Erik Vestlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Pilblad in the 8th minute of play. Ludvig Arenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Eklund having to interfere. If Arvid Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Linghem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Wenerdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 minutes, Jörgen Kuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linghem and the X Team 2.0 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jörgen Kuse kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Axel Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Jönsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, X Team 2.0's Axel Jönsson got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Linghem booed when X Team 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Erik Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Grönberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Linghem booed when X Team 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Georg Wenerdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

X Team 2.0's Kennet Fernkvist was substituted for Axel Jönsson. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esbjörn Axelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Kennet Fernkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Åke Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Pihlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Linghem's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Pihlgren came free, but Jens-Åke Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Linghem getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jörgen Kuse hit a great ball. Georg Wenerdahl took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Erik Vestlund. Karl-Erik Vestlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Orvar Nyström struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Karl-Erik Vestlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linghem. In the 86th minute Fabian Näfver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind X Team 2.0's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Vestlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl-Erik Vestlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Wenerdahl in the 92nd minute. In the 98th minute Esbjörn Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the X Team 2.0 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
