Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rickard Gullesson kicked off to start the match. Ullared IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Gullesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Kjellbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Helge Hägg's late challenge caught a Utö IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helge Hägg helped the player get up and apologised. Helge Hägg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Utö IFK's Olov Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philip Gustavsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. David Myhr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Philip Gustavsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. David Myhr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Persson in the 25th minute. Ullared IF's David Myhr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Harlén in the 28th minute of play. Utö IFK's Kurt Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Wallin in the 34th minute of play. When Ullared IF's Aleksander Wallin in 34 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Kurt Kjellbom guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After taking down the ball on Ullared IF's corner Erik Dahlbom fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kurt Kjellbom quite easily take care of the ball. Philip Gustavsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Utö IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Olov Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ullared IF's Helge Hägg got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philip Gustavsson made a kick off. In the 58th minute, one of Ullared IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ullared IF. David Myhr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Persson went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. David Myhr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Persson in the 74th minute of the match. Utö IFK's Olov Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Olov Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utö IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Kurt Kjellbom managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Ullared IF's Aleksander Wallin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Rickard Gullesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rickard Gullesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Kjellbom having to interfere. When Philip Gustavsson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Utö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Gustavsson couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ullared IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Utö IFK.
