Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rickard Gullesson started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Thumatorp's zone, Aleksander Wallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Nordal came out of the goal and Aleksander Wallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Aleksander Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ullared IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Gullesson in the 13th minute of play forced FC Thumatorp's goalkeeper Dan Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, FC Thumatorp's goalkeeper Dan Nordal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksander Wallin. If Aleksander Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rickard Gullesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Myhr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Blomquist in the 32nd minute of play. Aleksander Wallin scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Nordal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fredric Pihlberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ullared IF's David Myhr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Blomquist in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Åke Blomquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes FC Thumatorp got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Bremming. Aleksander Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Nordal having to interfere. Aleksander Wallin struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dan Nordal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ullared IF. Aleksander Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dan Nordal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Thumatorp booed when Ullared IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Hägg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ullared IF's goalkeeper David Myhr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC Thumatorp booed when Ullared IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Gullesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helge Hägg charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Hägg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Thumatorp booed when Ullared IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Hägg didn't get a good kick on the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 88th minute, but David Myhr got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ullared IF hanging dry this time. In the 92nd minute, Jan-Åke Blomquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Thumatorp players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ullared IF.
