After a rather tough play, Vitå's Elof Holmberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Sköldinge IK's Karl-Michael Stigsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A hard shot 9 in the game by Filip Björk from a close distance when the talented Kåre Trillkott managed to make a qualified save. Sköldinge IK's players were relieved. Joachim Bergvall scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredric Bäckman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Alvar Ståhlberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fredric Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Anton Linberg charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Linberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Anton Linberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Erik Pihl's late challenge caught a Sköldinge IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Erik Pihl helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vitå getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sven-Erik Pihl hit a great ball. Sköldinge IK's Karl-Michael Stigsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vitå. In the 30th minute, Börje Rosendal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Anton Linberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Börje Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Erik Pihl struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Kåre Trillkott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitå. Alvar Ståhlberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kåre Trillkott came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvar Ståhlberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 42nd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joachim Bergvall made a kick off. Alvar Ståhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kåre Trillkott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sköldinge IK's zone, Alvar Ståhlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kåre Trillkott came out of the goal and Alvar Ståhlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Ståhlberg in the 60th minute of play forced Sköldinge IK's goalkeeper Kåre Trillkott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Vitå's Alvar Ståhlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kåre Trillkott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sköldinge IK's Börje Rosendal got a free kick in the 66th minute. A collision led to Sköldinge IK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jonny Billock hit a great ball. Filip Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Trillkott having to interfere. Alvar Ståhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kåre Trillkott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Bergvall in the 75th minute of play forced Vitå's goalkeeper Fredric Bäckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Vitå got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Pihl. If Filip Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitå walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
