Joel Rudkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Hjeltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Joel Rudkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Hjeltman in the 32nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Edvard Boman notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Åtorp RK's Joel Rudkvist. Joel Rudkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Höglandets IK were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Enegren made a kick off. If Edvard Boman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Åtorp RK's Joel Rudkvist got control of the ball when Jon Hjeltman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Edvard Boman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Höglandets IK's Edvard Boman got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jon Hjeltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon Hjeltman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Rudkvist having to make a save. 88 minutes into the match, Åtorp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Hjeltman came free, but Joel Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Hjeltman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Joel Rudkvist made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, Tomas Brummer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Höglandets IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åtorp RK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Höglandets IK's Tomas Brummer got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Åtorp RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Höglandets IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
